DMCA and Copyright Policy

WPDOG.COM respects the intellectual property rights of creators. If you believe material on wpdog.com infringes your copyright, please follow the notice-and-takedown process below. We use a practical process intended to be consistent with applicable notice-and-takedown laws (including, for U.S. claims, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act).

Designated Agent for Copyright Notices

Copyright Agent – WPDOG.COM
Email: [email protected]
Preferred subject line: "Copyright Notice" or "DMCA Counter Notice"

We currently accept notices via email. Email is the fastest way to ensure prompt handling.

What to include in a copyright notice

To help us act quickly, your notice must be complete. Incomplete notices may be returned for more information.

Required element What it means
Identification of the copyrighted work Describe the work you own (e.g., title, product photo set, article) and, if available, include where we can view an authorized version.
Identification of the material on wpdog.com Provide the exact URL(s) on wpdog.com and a brief description so we can locate the material precisely. Screenshots can help.
Your contact information Full name, organization (if applicable), mailing address, email, and telephone number.
Good‑faith statement A statement that you have a good‑faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
Accuracy and authority statement A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Signature Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent. Typing your full legal name is acceptable for an electronic signature.

How to send your notice

  • Email your complete notice to [email protected].
  • Attach any supporting documentation (e.g., registration certificates, comparison images) if helpful.
  • Send each unique product/page URL you are reporting.

What happens after we receive a notice

  • We acknowledge receipt and review the submission for completeness.
  • If valid, we may remove or disable access to the reported material while we assess.
  • When appropriate, we notify the person or supplier who posted or provided the material and may share your notice with them.
  • They may submit a counter notice. If we receive a valid counter notice, we may restore the material after a reasonable time unless we receive notice that a court action has been filed.
  • We may reject or request clarification on notices that are incomplete, unclear, or do not allege copyright infringement.

Counter notice (for the person whose content was removed)

If your content was removed due to a copyright notice and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter notice.

Counter notice element What to include
Identification of removed material Provide the content that was removed or disabled and the exact URL(s) on wpdog.com where it appeared.
Statement under penalty of perjury State that you have a good‑faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
Your contact information Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
Consent to jurisdiction and service State that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court for your address (or, if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which WPDOG.COM may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant or their agent.
Signature Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable for an electronic signature).

Send your counter notice to [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Counter Notice".

Restoration of material

If we receive a valid counter notice, we may restore the material after a reasonable period consistent with applicable law (for U.S. claims, typically 10–14 business days) unless we receive notice that the original complainant has filed an action seeking a court order.

Repeat infringement

Where applicable, we may limit, suspend, or terminate access or supplier relationships for repeat infringements. We also reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.

Misuse of this process

Submitting false or bad‑faith claims or counter notices may carry legal consequences. Use this process only for copyright matters. For trademarks or other issues, contact us at the email above with details.

Privacy

We share complete notices and counter notices, including contact details, with the other party and with service providers or advisors as needed to process the claim. Do not include sensitive personal data unrelated to your claim.
