Accepted ways to pay

Checkout security and privacy

  • Our checkout is encrypted (TLS) end to end.
  • Payments are processed by trusted partners (Stripe, PayPal, Airwallex).
  • We never store full card numbers or CVV on our servers.
  • Orders may be reviewed to prevent fraud; we may contact you if verification is needed.

For your safety, please do not email or message us your card details.

Payment timing and authorizations

  • Charges are placed when you confirm your order. Some banks display a temporary authorization hold.
  • If an order fails or is canceled, any authorization hold will be released by your bank according to their timeline.
  • Your payment will be processed in the currency shown at checkout. Any exchange rates or fees are set by your bank or provider.

If your payment fails

If you see an error or your payment is declined, try the following:

  • Confirm card number, expiry, CVC, and billing address (including ZIP/postal code) match your bank’s records.
  • Complete any one-time verification your bank requires (e.g., a text/app code).
  • Try a different browser or device, or clear your cache and try again.
  • Try another method (for example, PayPal or a different card).
  • Contact your bank to approve the transaction if they placed a security block.
  • If you notice a pending duplicate after a failed attempt, your bank will usually release the hold automatically; you can also contact us for help.

Receipts and statements

  • We email an order confirmation and receipt once payment is successful.
  • Your statement will typically show WPDOG.COM or the name of our payment partner.

Refunds and reversals

When a refund is issued, it is returned to the original payment method. Posting times depend on your bank or provider. PayPal usually shows refunds promptly, while card issuers can take several business days to display them.
